This is a developmental role where incumbent will work throughout the facilities with
experienced Mechanical Engineers and will coordinate project activities with other maintenance/utilities personnel within PRO-TEC, as well as, outside contractors and vendors. The incumbent should strive to continuously improve equipment and processes whenever possible to maintain production. Also manage assigned projects within facilities and utilities and comply with safety and environmental compliance and standards.
The Mechanical Project Engineer works closely with Mechanical and Utilities Technicians, other operators, outside contractors, and vendors. This incumbent also works with the Manager, Purchasing & Receiving, Purchasing Specialists, and other Engineers while managing projects.

Incumbent must be able to sit at a desk, view computer screen, and talk on the phone. He/she must be able to travel occasionally and may be required to periodically work extended hours and weekend duty. Incumbent should be able to climb stairs and ladders, and walk throughout the large facilities and walk on uneven surfaces. Incumbent must be able to drive a vehicle throughout the facilities. He or she should be able to withstand varying extreme weather conditions while working in the facilities or outside the facilities. May be required to work on high, elevated platforms.

Incumbent reports to Manager, Quality Assurance and performs materials engineering evaluations, data analysis, trials and engineering decisions for all aspects of assigned tasks. Tasks include the design and improvements of products and service on assigned segments of PRO-TEC book-of-business to assure timely delivery of product which meets or exceeds customer specifications and expectations. Incumbents look for and identify quality niches, continuous improvement opportunities and areas of product differentiation to maintain/create a quality and productivity edge in the marketplace.

Join our team as a Warehouse Operator! The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. More information below:
Warehouse Operators are responsible for working with customer specifications of packaging and material handling equipment, including coil scale, coil marker, ID and OD banding units, paper dispensing units, packaging cranes, and printers. They will also perform duties related to receiving substrate, shipping coated coils by truck and rail, and other associated warehouse activity. The applicant must possess strong communication skills, support a culture of safety and environmental compliance with safe operating procedures and practices, and support continuous improvement.

This position requires the ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift, walk intermittently, stand, climb, bend, stoop, and moderate lift for short periods of time. Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity. Position also requires the ability to climb stairs and ladders, walk throughout the large facility, and withstand varying extreme weather conditions while working within the facility. May be required to work on high, elevated platforms.
